The x-wx-trace ID helps the Kadence support team trace specific requests when investigating errors or unexpected behaviour. This ID can be found using your browser’s developer tools.

How to Get the x-wx-trace ID

  1. Open Kadence in your web browser

  2. Right-click anywhere on the page and select Inspect (or press Cmd + Option + I on Mac, Ctrl + Shift + I on Windows)

  3. Open the Network tab

  4. Reproduce the issue you are experiencing (refresh the page or repeat the action)

  5. Click on one of the requests in the Network list

  6. In the request details, locate Request URL or Headers

  7. Find the value labeled x-wx-trace or x-wx-trace-id

When to Share This

Provide the x-wx-trace ID to your Kadence Global Admin or include it when contacting [email protected] so the support team can investigate more quickly.

If possible, also include:

  • The time the issue occurred

  • The page or action you were performing

  • Screenshots or screen recordings

That’s it. This ID significantly speeds up troubleshooting.
