If you’re having trouble logging in to Kadence using Single Sign-On (SSO) on an iPhone or iPad, this is usually caused by iOS security restrictions around authentication flows.
If your company enforces SSO through a specific browser or app (for example, Microsoft Edge or a managed identity app), the login may fail unless it’s explicitly allowed.
Why This Happens on iOS
On iOS:
Authentication happens inside Apple’s in-app browser (Safari View Controller)
iOS blocks redirecting out to third-party browsers during login
Some SSO providers require:
A specific browser (e.g. Microsoft Edge)
A managed app
A specific app ID or whitelisted entry
If your company enforces one of these, iOS may prevent the login from completing.
What You May See
You might experience:
The login screen looping
Being redirected back to the login page
An error after entering your SSO credentials
Login working on desktop but not on iOS
What You Need to Do
This is not something you can fix directly in the Kadence app. You’ll need help from your company’s IT or device management team.
Ask them to whitelist Kadence for SSO on iOS, either by:
Allowing Kadence to complete SSO inside the iOS in-app browser
Allowing the Kadence app ID through your mobile device management (MDM) policy
Relaxing enforcement that requires authentication only through a specific third-party browser (such as Edge) on iOS
Your IT team may refer to this as:
App whitelisting
App-based authentication exceptions
iOS SSO browser restrictions
MDM or Conditional Access policy updates
Helpful Information to Share with IT
When contacting your IT team, you can share:
You are unable to log in to Kadence on iOS using SSO
Desktop SSO works correctly
iOS does not allow redirecting to third-party browsers for authentication
Kadence needs to be whitelisted for in-app SSO on iOS, or exempted from enforced Edge-only or browser-based login policies
Temporary Workarounds
While this is being reviewed:
Log in to Kadence using a desktop browser
Use Kadence via web on your computer if needed for bookings
Still Stuck?
If you’ve confirmed with IT that Kadence is whitelisted and the issue continues:
Contact your Kadence admin
Ask them to reach out to [email protected] with details about your SSO provider and iOS setup
