Basic vs. Advanced Parking

Prerequisites:

• You must be a global or building admin

• Advanced parking must be disabled

To manage basic parking, follow the steps below:

1. In Kadence, navigate to "Buildings". Here you will find the list of all the buildings currently in your instance.

2. Click on the three vertical dots (⋮) next to the building you want to enable basic parking for, then "Edit building".

3. Click on "Settings" from the top of the edit buildings screen to view parking options.

4. Click the toggle next to "Basic parking" to enable or disable this feature
   If enabled you can:

   • Enter the name of your building's parking lot

   • Add the number and type of parking spaces available for your users to book

5. Click "Save" once you are happy with your changes

That's it! Once basic parking is enabled, your users can then start making parking reservations alongside their main space bookings.
