Regenerate an API Key Secret

You can regenerate your API key secret from the API detail page. API secrets can only be regenerated by a global administrator in Kadence.

To regenerate your API key secret, follow the steps below:

  1. Navigate to Settings in the lower left-hand corner, then to "API Keys". In the table of existing API keys find and click on the row of the key you’d like to edit.

  2. Click on the “Regenerate” button.

  3. A confirmation popup will be displayed to prompt you to confirm you wish to regenerate the secret. Select the “Regenerate” button.

  4. When the secret has been regenerated a success toast notification will be displayed. The new secret will be shown in the secret field on the API detail page.
