Google and Microsoft Entra ID single sign-on (SSO) are built into every Kadence account. That's why both always show as Connected in Settings → Integrations, even if you've never set them up.
Connected doesn't mean Kadence has been linked to your Google Workspace or Microsoft tenant. It means these sign-in options are available to your users.
What Connected means for each provider
Provider | Can be disconnected | Setup required |
No | None. Users can sign in with Google straight away. | |
No | Sometimes. An Entra admin may need to grant consent the first time someone signs in. |
Does this mean anyone can sign in?
No. Only people who already have a Kadence account can sign in, and the email on their Kadence account must match the Google or Microsoft account they use.
Can I turn them off?
No. Google and Microsoft Entra ID SSO can't be disconnected. They don't stop you from adding your own provider, such as Okta, OneLogin, or JumpCloud.
Want SSO to be the only way to sign in? Turn on Require SSO for all sign-ins. This switches off password sign-in, but Google and Microsoft sign-in stay available alongside your company's provider.
