How to Add Catering to Meeting Rooms

Add a link to an external services or surveys that appears when users book meeting rooms

Catering makes it easy for meeting organisers to order food without leaving Kadence. Catering links are configured globally but applied per building.


Prerequisites

  • You must be a Global Admin

  • You must have a Google or Outlook room calendar integration enabled


Enable Catering

To enable catering for meeting rooms:

  • Log in to Kadence

  • Navigate to Settings > Resources

  • Select Rooms from the space type list on the left-hand side

  • Scroll down to Catering

  • Click Add catering

  • Enter the URL for your external catering or food ordering service

  • Select the building or buildings this catering option should apply to

  • Click Add to save

You can repeat these steps to add different catering links for other buildings.

Each building can only be associated with one catering link at a time.


Manage Existing Catering Options

To edit or delete an existing catering option:

  • Navigate to Settings > Resources

  • Select Rooms from the space type list

  • Scroll down to Catering

  • Click the three-dot menu next to the catering option

  • Select Edit or Delete

If editing:

  • Update the catering URL

  • Add or remove associated buildings

  • Click Update to save

If deleting:

  • Confirm the deletion in the warning prompt

    Delete Catering Item

Once deleted, the catering link will no longer appear for room bookings in the associated buildings.
