Bring your workplace into Claude. Once Kadence is connected, you can book spaces, check who's in, and invite visitors without leaving your chat.

Connecting Kadence to Claude uses the Kadence MCP, which is currently in beta. If you'd like to join the beta, contact your Customer Success Manager or [email protected].

Before you start

  • Your Kadence Global Admin needs to turn on MCP access for your organisation. In Kadence, go to Settings → Integrations → MCP access and switch it on.

  • You need a Claude account. Custom connectors are available on Free, Pro, Max, Ultra, Team and Enterprise plans. Free plans are limited to one custom connector.

  • You'll need the Kadence MCP address: https://mcp.onkadence.co/mcp

Claude Team and Enterprise help guide

On Claude Team and Enterprise, a Claude Owner adds Kadence for the whole organisation first. Everyone else then connects their own account.

Add Kadence to your Claude organisation (Claude Owners)

  1. In Claude, go to Organization settings → Connectors.

  2. Click Add.

  3. Hover over Custom, then select Web.

  4. Enter the name Kadence and the address https://mcp.onkadence.co/mcp, then click Continue.

  5. Review the sign-in settings Claude detects and click Continue.

  6. Under Authentication, choose a sign-in option (not No sign in). Each person signs in with their own Kadence account.

  7. Under OAuth client, keep Use Claude's published identity (Recommended). Leave Request headers empty.

  8. Click Add.

Let your people know Kadence is ready for them to connect.

Start using Kadence in Claude

  1. Start a new chat.

  2. Click + in the chat box, then Connectors, and make sure Kadence is switched on.

  3. Ask away - try "Book me a desk for tomorrow" or "Who from my team is in on Thursday?"

Claude asks for your approval before it uses a Kadence tool. You can approve each time or choose Allow always for tools you're comfortable with.

Once connected, Kadence is also available in Claude Desktop.

Good to know

  • Approve with care: For actions like bookings and desk assignments, check the details in Claude's approval request before you allow it.

  • Switch it off when you don't need it: You can turn Kadence on or off for each chat from the + menu.

  • Start a new chat after updates: If a new Kadence capability doesn't appear, open a fresh chat.
