What Is Kadence for Microsoft Teams?

The Kadence app in Microsoft Teams is a web-wrapped version of the Kadence web app. It works the same way as Kadence in your browser, but is embedded directly inside Teams for convenience.

In addition to the app experience, Kadence also includes a Kadence bot (Kadence AI) that lets you interact with Kadence using chat commands.

Kadence for Microsoft Teams allows you to:

  • View and manage your bookings

  • Create new desk, room, or onsite bookings

  • Check in to bookings

  • See where your colleagues are working

  • Receive Kadence notifications directly in Teams

Anything you can do in your browser, you can also do in Teams.

To add Kadence to Microsoft Teams:

  2. Click Apps in the left-hand navigation

  3. Search for Kadence

  4. Select the Kadence app

  5. Click Add

Once added, Kadence will appear in your Teams app rail or app list.

If you do not see Kadence in the Teams app store, your company may need to enable it. Contact your Kadence admin for help.

After adding Kadence:

All actions sync in real time with the Kadence web and mobile apps. See our indepth Getting Started guide here.

  2. Select Kadence from your chat list

You can type natural language messages to Kadence AI to perform actions such as:

  • Checking in to your current booking

  • Asking what bookings you have today

  • Creating a booking

  • Updating your workday status

If you do not have an active booking, Kadence AI may prompt you to create one.

Available actions depend on how your company has configured Kadence. If you're unsure, you can ask the bot about its capabilities directly.
